CORAL GRAFTING TRAINING & RESTORATION DIVES - MAY 10-11

update - May 11 dive SOLD OUT. May 10 training still available!

DiveBar is teaming up with the NSU Oceanographic Center to grow, clean, maintain, and outplant (graft) coral in our local marine environment. On the evening of May 10th (6-8pm), members of the NSU Oceanographic Center's Coral Reef Restoration, Assessment and Monitoring Lab will train everyone interested on the techniques you'll use underwater at the Oceanographic Center (8000 North Ocean Drive, Dania Beach, FL 33004). The first coral reef restoration dive with members of the National Coral Reef Institute will take place on May 11th from 8am-12pm.

DiveBar will offer multiple coral reef restoration dives throughout the year, but you must attend the training on May 10th to go on any of the dives, so even if you cannot attend the dive on May 11th, make sure you RSVP for and attend the May 10th training.  All levels of certification welcome to join.

RSVP limited to 80 people for May 10th, and 15 people for May 11th.

Training is free of charge. Cost of dives approximately $80.
