DiveBar members joined the RJ Dunlap Marine Conservation Program’s Citizen Scientist Expedition

Besides our great strides in coral restoration, DiveBar partnered with Dr. Neil Hammerschlag and the University of Miami RJ Dunlap Marine Conservation Program to support shark research and conservation.  In fact, you might have seen us recently on the cover of Florida Bar News and on the Florida Bar website where DiveBar’s support of RJD has been featured.  That partnership started with our adoption of a great hammerhead shark equipped with a satellite tag that will provide RJD with critical information about the shark’s activities (live tracking of our adopted shark can be found on our website). Since then, we participated in a shark-tagging research expedition to enable the RJD team to conduct more hands-on research.
