The Blue Heron Bridge dive site is a beautiful shore-diving site along the pilings underneath the Blue Heron Bridge that connects Singer Island with Riviera Beach. It is considered the premier macro dive site in the continental US, and is visited by divers from all over the world to photograph the wide array of unique species that can regularly be found here – and it is right in our backyard! Divers regularly encounter octopi, sea horses, batfish, frog fish, jawfish, spotted eagle rays, and so much more! Bring your underwater cameras and join us on this truly unique experience.
Meet @ 11 AM for a potluck BBQ lunch & discussion of the dive site and amazing species you may encounter there. We will get ready for the dive at 1:00 PM and begin the dive around 1:30 PM.
Location: 900 East Blue Heron Blvd., Phil Foster Park, Riviera Beach
The Bridge is adjacent to Phil Foster Park on Blue Heron Blvd.
Cost: FREE! Divers must bring their own gear, tanks and weights.
Please bring a dish if you intend to participate in the potluck BBQ!
All buddy groups must display a “diver down” flag at all times. Flags are not provided. Please indicate in your RSVP if you can bring a flag.
